Fran de Mel over-all winner at Hyundai Golf Classic

The popular Hyundai Golf Classic held for the seventh successive year
under the sponsorship of Hyundai Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, had 43 ladies vying
for championship honours last Friday at the golf course of the RCGC.
Coming out on top to be over-all winner was Fran De Mel, who also won
the ‘C’ division 25-36 handicap category, while the ‘B’ division 13-24
was won by Kumari Herath and the ‘A’ division 0-12 was wan by Dhanushi
Senadeera.
The awards ceremony and dinner was hosted by the hospitable Hyundai
company addresses at the awards ceremony were made by the counsellor for
the embassy of the Republic of Korea, Park Hoo Young, Managing Director
Hyundai, Heinsz Reuter, Executive Director Hyundai, Gehan Siribaddane -
They also presented the awards with yet others.
