Children's sports festival

Over one hundred children from Matara, Nilavali and Nattandiya will take part in the Children's Sports Festival at the sports school, Nattandiya from September 12 to 14, 2008.

The children belonging to the three main communities Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim will take part in football, swimming and table tennis during the three day festival.

The festival has been organised by the AGSEP with the aim of bringing about friendship and understanding between the children of the three communities by taking part in sports.

Transport and accommodation will be provided to the children from Matara and Nilavali by AGSEP.The winners of the competitions will be awarded prizes and certificates.
