Laffeer continues to promote Table Tennis

Mohamed Laffeer is an administrator of high repute, having held
various positions in table tennis scene for over 37 years. He continues
to be involved in the promotion of table tennis in a big way.
Former St. John’s College, Dematagoda and national player was
re-elected President of the Veteran Table Tennis Association of Sri
Lanka for the seventh time. He is also a Senior Vice President of the
Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka.
Laffeer who has represented the national team of Sri Lanka from 1970
to 1974 has plans for the improvement of the game in all provinces,
particularly in the schools. He has already begun coaching camps in
Gampaha, Kalutara and Kandy.
His aim is promote the game of table tennis amongst Veterans TT,
Mercantile, Nationalised Services, State Services and Armed Forces
sector. Laffeer has performed creditably and has won several medals
participating in over five International Veterans Table Tennis
Championships for a couple of years.
