Textbooks to Jaffna by sea

COLOMBO: The Education Ministry has taken steps to send school
textbooks to Jaffna today by sea. The official ceremony will be held at
the Bandaranaike Jetty under the patronage of the Education Minister
Susil Premajayantha.
Under the first phase of the programme 614,974 books will be sent to
Jaffna. These books will be distributed among 14 regional educational
offices in the Jaffna Peninsula.
