Merchant Credit opens more branches

Merchant Credit of Sri Lanka will offer a gamut of customer-friendly services and open more outlets to serve its expanding base of customers, Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said.

"We always function with the belief that our success depends on our adaptability to ever changing market forces, be it local or global, and proffer smart options for our customers to make their enterprises remain progressive and viable in those scenarios'.

It is a fact that we have never hesitated to reorient ourselves if it helped our customer, and if it really alleviated our customer, the cost of the new systems were never considered an obstacle," Ratnayake said, addressing staff and customers at the opening of the Bank's newest branch in Kiribathgoda on Thursday. "Year 2008 is the watershed year and we are in the process of getting closer to you.

We the Merchant Credit of Sri Lanka, an offspring of revered Bank of Ceylon and the pioneering merchant bank, Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka have every resource that will assist to make your business a resounding success," he said.

"In our pursuit of excellence, our tenacity is relentless, our loyalty is boundless and our dedication to your success is total and infinite.

In other words your new neighbour is the champion merchant banking service provider with the hallmark of service excellence, tradition and trust; a position we have earned and cherished through the past 25 years."
