The  Average Weighted Prime Lending Rates (AWPLR) & the Lowest Prime Rate (LPR)
during the week ended 04th July, 2008 by all commercial banks were 18.04 percent and 14.00 per cent respectively.
The Average Weighted Deposit Rate (AWDR) of the Commercial banks for the month of June, 2008 was 10.92 percent.
