Woman arrested for helping LTTE cadres

A special team from Kandy police has apprehended a Tamil woman
suspect who is alleged to have operated a lodged at Mannar for LTTE
cadres penetrating into the hill country and other parts of the island,
from Kilinochchi.
Following the investigation of an LTTE suspect arrested at Kotmale,
the police was able to make the arrest at her house at Mannar.
The suspect in the attempted assassination of minister Douglas
Devananda too had been a occupant at the suspect woman's lodge at
Manner. |
