NTB unveils new logo and identity

Nations Trust Bank PLC unveils its new brand identity today, ushering a new image and a new brand identity.

Chairman of Nations Trust Bank Ajit Gunawardene and Bank’s Director/CEO Zulfiqar Zavahir unveiling the main branch signage depicting the new brand identity.

Chairman, Ajit Gunawardene said, “This rebranding exercise is only one of the initiatives which the Bank will implement as part of the Strategic Plan which was approved by the Board at the end of last year. We have now got all the elements in place and look forward to the next phase of growth and increased profitability in the coming years”.

Commenting on the unveiling of the new brand Director/CEO Zulfiqar Zavahir said, “The Nations Trust Bank brand mark is of central importance to our identity going forward. It is the principal means we have to communicate our brand name, personality and values.

We are pleased to present to our customers, shareholders, staff and the general public a new stance and a heightened level in delivering a differentiated solution that is indelibly intertwined with the core essence and values of the brand.”

The new identity represents the core values of flexibility, simplicity, of being responsive and innovative - all of which are values espoused by the organisation in delivering a higher level of service to customers.

The logo further symbolises this process of engagement as it proceeds with asymmetrical motion towards its conclusion. In its non-linearity, it is a dynamic and living mark - almost a physical reminder of how the Bank can touch the lives of our customers in a genuine, meaningful, manner.

“The unveiling of the new brand comes at an opportune moment,” said Zavahir. “We are poised to usher in a new level of convenience and services targeted specifically at our customers that will be launched in the months to follow.

The months ahead are exciting times indeed, for both the Bank as an organisation as well as most importantly to our customers,” he concluded.
