WILLATHGAMUWA - REV. FR. FLAVIAN CMF: A Claretian Missionary
priest serving in the United States since 1979 was called to rest on the June
11th, 2008 (Wednesday). His burial will take place in the Claretian Plot at San
Gabriel Mission in Los Angeles following a Vigil at 7.30 p.m. Thursday the 19th.
And the funeral Mass will be celebrated on the June 20th 2008 at 10.00 am. Both
will take place in the Chapel of the Annunciation at Gabriel Mission, 428, South
Mission Drive, Sa Gabriel, California. (Prior to becoming a Claretian Missionary
in the year 1979, he was a De LA Salle brother for more than forty years. During
his commitment as a Religious Brother of the Da LA Salle, he was brother Visitor
for two terms (1973-79) and was the Director of St Benedict’s College Colombo
