Eleven Yatinuwara UNPers join SLFP

Eleven UNP members including three polling agents in Nadithalawa Uduwela in the Yatinuwara electorate have renounced their party membership and joined the SLFP in protest against the policies and utterances of UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe which they say indirectly helped the barbaric LTTE to realise its ulterior motives.

They received their SLFP membership cards from Central Province Governor and Yatinuwara SLFP Chief Organiser Tikiri Kobbekaduwa at a meeting at the residence of W.P.G. Ekanayke at Nadithalawa recently.
