Upul Perera TT champ

Upul Perera of the Nuwara Eliya Lake Club was the winner in the Table Tennis tournament conducted by the Nuwara Eliya Table Tennis Association with Ashok Kumar of the Hill Club S.C. was the runner-up. In the doubles Ashok Kumar and G. Gordon Steven beat Upul Perera and R. T. Boose of the Lake Club. Over twenty schools participated in the tournament.

The President of the Association Daya Nanayakkara, who is also the Acting Magistrate of Nuwara Eliya welcomed the participating teams and added that the tournament was held for the fifth consecutive year in succession.
