Vimuktha books his place in semi finals

Sri Lanka's Vimuktha de Alwis moved through to the semi finals along with Unseeded Abdul Razak (MAS), Digvijay Singh Naruka (IND) and fifth seeded Vishal Passi of India in the boy's singles at the Asian Tennis Federation under 14 series yesterday.

Tournament is now under way at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association Courts. Vimuktha who trounced the Indian Marcos Gomesz 6-0-6-0 in the quarter-finals, will take on Digvijay Singh Naruka from India today. In the girl's singles, two indians, Megha Seharawat and Terranum Handa were trough to the final which will be played this morning.

Sehrawat overcame her fellow teammate fourth seeded Bhavika Wadhavan 6-4-6-0 while Handa made her way after beating Teertha Iska 6-1-6-3. Four Indians will meet in the girl's doubles final as second seeded Teertha Iska and Bhavika Wadhawan will take on Terranum Handa and Megha Sehrawat.
