Minister thanks Trinco voters

Power and Energy Minister W.D.J. Seneviratne issuing a media release thanked the voters of Trincomalee, who were committed to the UPFA victory in the District at the recently concluded Provincial Council Election.

The Minister stated that people of the Eastern Province who had been tormented by terrorism finally exercised their franchise freely thanks to the efforts of the Security Forces. Minister Seneviratne re-iterated the Government's commitment and effort to develop the province, joining hands with newly-elected members of the Provincial Council in order to fulfil the expectations of the people of the Eastern Province.

The Minister expressed his gratitude to the Ministers and representatives who were in-charge of the election campaign in the respective electorates.
