Hayleys lights up Amadahara

The Amadahara Vesak Sadaham Kalapaya will be held for the 19th time
from May 19 to 21 to celebrate Vesak. It is organised by The Associated
Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) and Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd.

Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd and ANCL entered into an agreement
yesterday at Lake House in this regard.
The project has several attractive cultural items such as lantern
competitions a puppetry show and Buddhist devotional songs.
"We have been doing this for the last 18 years. We are happy to
celebrate it this time as well." ANCL General Manager Abhaya Amaradasa
said.
The event will be electronically relayed by ITN and Lakhanda Radio
with studios erected in the zone.
Amaradasa said it would be good for passers-by to gain first-hand
experience on the way how a television studio operates. The estimated
project expenditure will be about Rs. 2 million.
The 125-year-old Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd has experience in
lighting religious places like the Dalada Maligawa as well many venues
overseas.

Hayleys as it saves a lot of money for the consumer. |
