EXCON 2008 concludes successfully

The EXCON 2008 Exhibition which was held at the BMICH recently
concluded successfully for the sixth successive year.
The exhibition showcased a range of different products providing
opportunities for vendors of engineering and equipment and other
construction inputs, to meet their target clientele. Over ten thousand
people interested in the construction industry visited the exhibition.
The CEO of the Chamber of Construction Industry Dakshitha
Talgodapitiya said that the EXCON Exhibition is one of the major
achievements that is focused to enhance the capacity and quality of the
industry and the exhibition provided forum for industry to build
linkages among them selves.
A member of the chamber GTB Colombo Corporation Ltd was the main
sponsor of the exhibition.
Minister of Construction and Engineering Services Rajitha Senaratne
was the chief guest. Senior officials of the Bank of Ceylon were at hand
to advice the entrepreneurs on how their banking and financial concerns
could be addressed.
