Arrest warrant for not attending court

Colombo Additional Magistrate Ajith Anawaratne issued a warrant against a retired Army personnel who allegedly attempted to sexually harass a woman security officer attached to a private security firm.

The Magistrate issued a warrant when the accused was not present in court when the case was called.

The Magistrate directed Grandpass police to arrest the accused and produce him in court.
