Lankan delegation Teheran bound

The Sri Lankan delegation to the Second Asia Pacific Minister’s Conference on Urban and Rural Housing Development Organised by the UN Habitat Fund will leave for Teheran next week.

The Sri Lankan delegation headed by Urban Development and Sacred Areas Development Minister Dinesh Gunawardena with the participation of Housing and Common Amenities Minister Ferial Ismail Ashraff comprises several top officials.

The topics at the conference include Urban and Rural Housing Planning, Upgrading of slums and informal settlements, drinking water and sanitation, financing sustainable housing projects, low-income housing projects and natural disasters and urban development.
