Isipatana College will face an acid test when they take on their arch rivals Trinity College Kandy in a key Singer inter school Under 20 Group 'A' league tournament match at Longden Place today. Kick off is at 4.45 p.m after the under 12, 14 and 16 matches.

The Ministry of Sports and Recreation joined hands with Dialog Telekom to initiate the country's largest ever National Sports Awards and felicitation ceremony which will be staged on July 16 at the BMICH in Colombo.

Havelocks in search of past glory

Havelocks Sports Club with 14 players from last year's team in their ranks will go all out to recapture their past glory in the 2008 rugby season. The Park Club boasts of a powerful and experienced set of forwards and the back division is laden with talented youngsters with the only absentee being last year's Sri Lanka centre Niroshan Karunanayake who has crossed over to CR and FC.
