Left arm spinner Milan Fernando of S. Thomas' College Mount Lavinia have performed a unique feat by capturing over one hundred wickets during the current inter school cricket season.

Fernando also became the first Thomian to claim over one hundred wickets in a season while overcoming the previous record of 91 wickets held by Ranil Abeynaike in 1973.

Fernando returned his best bowling figures of seven wickets for 26 runs against Zahira College and took a matchbag of ten wickets on four occasions against Zahira College, Wesley College, Nalanda College and Dharmapala MV.

In addition he has captured five wickets or more in an innings on five occasions this season. In the previous season too he performed well to claim a total of 65 wickets as a fresher.
