"Amethyst Fatale" enhances Oriflame's perfume portfolio

Oriflame launched "Amethyst Fatale" the premier fragrance from the exclusive Gem Collection. Endorsed by star perfumers and inspired by gemstones, it is sure to take Oriflame's premium range of fragrances to a different level.

Revealed by the fusion of the talent of master perfumers Jean Jacques and Francis Kurkdjian, "Amethyst Fatale" is a distinct and sensual fragrance. It draws inspiration from the world's best known gemstones and has been unequivocally endorsed by star perfumers for its passion and alluring qualities.

Managing Director of Oriflame Sri Lanka, Per Gunnarsson said this is a unique series of premium perfumes signed by two world renowned perfumers who have taken inspiration from the exclusive beauty of nature. "These new fragrances undoubtedly enrich Oriflame's portfolio of products and are all set to capture hearts around the world, with Sri Lanka being no exception", he said.

"A dazzling creation in itself, 'Amethyst Fatale' encapsulates the beauty of the amethyst and offers a fantasised olfactory view of this magnificent stone. It has been inspired by the sensual and mysterious nature of this precious gem, creating a chypre scent and modernised by crystalline musk notes.

Undeniably feminine, the vibrant berry loaded top merges with the exclusive powdery iris, the most expensive floral note of the perfumery. The ending is warm and sophisticated with a unique blend of amber, benzoin, white musk and patchouli. "All in all 'Amethyst Fatale' encapsulates and symbolises sensuality, femininity and elegance", Gunnarsson added.

Jean Jacques the world renowned French perfumer had passion for both music and perfumes at a very early age. Despite becoming an accomplished pianist in his teens, his unique and modern vision for fragrance made him succumb to fragrance since it chimed so well with his artistic aspirations.
