GBA is headed by its CEO, Akram Abdus Samad, who has 13 years advanced, innovative and quality teaching experience for LCCI, CIMA, CIM and ABE in Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.

He also possesses 13 years Senior Management experience in various industries and environments. His hands-on corporate board room real world experience will be imparted to his students in a class room environment with office worked examples so that the student understands the practical aspects of the industries.

LCCI diploma in marketing

He produced the best pass rates for individual subjects in the last LCCI exam, and is one of the pioneer LCCI lecturers. He is a revision course provider who has produced several LCCI marketing diploma holders.

GBA considers LCCI as the flagship of their programmes. GBA offers 4 months full and part time programmes which consist of subjects such as marketing, selling, sales management and customer service. The classes commence on 20th January 2008.

The students are given practical work and diagrammatical explanations with advanced teaching techniques using state-of-the-art equipment which are a unique feature of GBA.

Teaching methodology and course presentation

The GBA panel of lecturers adopts simple modular approach and prepares the student not only for theory but also brings practical experience of the corporate world in to the class room so that real life experience is shared and maximum exposure and right mix elements developed to ensure success in the examination, in the areas of customer service, sales management, marketing and advertising.

Result oriented structured programmes are adopted with flexible schedule based teaching having classes for week ends, week days and week evening classes with timely coverage of the syllabus. Intensive Revision Programmes are conducted one month prior to the exam.

Special types of training have also been developed for the benefit of the students, such as Group Studies, Assignments, E-Learning, Computer Assisted Learning, Distance Learning and On-line classes to various parts of Sri Lanka and overseas.
