Three Indian students killed in Australian house fire

Three Indian students died in a house fire in the Australian city of Melbourne early Thursday, police said.

Police said the three men, aged 22, 24 and 30, were unable to escape from a front bedroom as the blaze ripped through a bungalow in suburban Footscray in the early hours of Thursday.

A couple in their 30s and their five-year-old daughter who lived at the property managed to escape by climbing through a window, police said.
