Fine Art schols in India

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi has called for applications for awarding of undergraduates scholarships in Fine Arts (music, dance and painting).

Applicants should be between the age of 20-25 and possess a minimum of three passes in GCE Advanced Level including a credit pass in the subject applied for - dance, music or art.

They also should have at least a simple pass in English language in the GCE Ordinary Level. The application form can be obtained from the Indian Cultural Centre, 133, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 4 on weekdays between 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. from January 7 to 21.

The applicant should come in person to collect the form. The application form along with a photocopy of the GCE Advanced Level certificate should be sent to The Assistant, Information Wing, High Commission of India, 36-38, Galle Road, Colombo 3 or the Indian Cultural Centre, 133, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 4 by January 25.

Candidates from upcountry areas can submit their application form to the office of the Assistant High Commission of India, Kandy.
