ISO Secretary General to visit Lanka
International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) Secretary
General Alan Bryden is due to visit Sri Lanka as part of a tour of Asian
member countries of the ISO.
This is the first ever visit to Sri Lanka by an ISO Secretary
General. The ISO is a network of the National Standards Institutes of
157 countries with representation on the basis of one member per
country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland where ISO had
its genesis in 1947.
Bryden will address a workshop organised by UNIDO in collaboration
with ISO and SLSI on 'Good Standardisation and Conformity Assessment
Practice - A Regional Dimension'. |
