A’pura attack: Over 500 quizzed

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) probing the LTTE attack on the Anuradhapura airbase have recorded over 500 statements from Air Force personnel and the public.

The CID commenced investigations into the attack on IGP Victor Perera’s direction and deployed a SSP to lead the probe.

The CID will forward the dossier of the investigation to the Attorney General to obtain assistance to conduct further inquiries.
