Swarnamahal penetrates financial services sector

Swarnamahal Fi- nancial Services has been able to penetrate the market very fast during just two years in operation because it has developed the confidence of people, CEO, Director SFS Hafeez Rajudin said.

Opening their new head office building at Galle Road, Colombo 3 yesterday, he said SFS is the first company to contribute to the full share of capital under new regulations approved by the Central Bank.

The company has introduced very basic products for every segment such as minor savings, leasing, higher purchasing, business sector loans and the latest is loans for professionals.

 be developed to other professions in the future.

Another significant feature is that the customer does not have to come to the office. Company goes to the customer’s door step for their requirements. This facility has been introduced for senior citizens specially and the company has mobilised 50 well-trained visiting officers for this purpose.

Swarnamahal has been in business for the last five decades in various business ventures such as jewellery , media and real estate which has remarkably recognized by its customers and therefore the future plan is to get more and more closer to them by introducing new products to suit their requirements.

This strategy is implemented through Tikiri Ginum for children and then Wedaduru for professionals and Abiman for senior citizens, he said.

The company is very sustainable and has done attractive Rs 2 billion worth of business so far and the Central Bank has granted approval to open three new branches in Kandy, Kurunegala and Negombo.
