Head of International, HSBC Paul Leech visited Sri Lanka from 30-31
October, 2007 to discuss the strategic direction of the bank for the
coming term.
He met the Deputy Governor of Central Bank, Dr. Ranee Jayamaha, to
review the nature of the banking industry in Sri Lanka

He was also met by the Functional Heads of HSBC, who made their
presentations to him on the current position of the organisation and he
had the opportunity of examining the areas of growth in each field.
Leech was also able to visit the HSBC Premier centre as well as the
Union Place Branch and Business Banking Centre, where he met with key
staff and gained their perspective on the bank’s operations.
These centres cater to a specific and rapidly growing customer base
and were created to better understand the needs of the customers and to
provide them with tailor-made solutions.
Leech also visited the Operations Centre and the HDPL Group Service
Centre in Rajagiriya.
He also had the opportunity of meeting with several key customers. |
