Priyangika sets up only record on final day

Priyangika Madhumanthi from Kurunegala established the only record on the third and final day of the 85th Senior National Athletic Championships concluded at the Sugathadasa Stadium yesterday.

Madhumanthi cleared a good 1.08 metres in the women's high jump event to erase her own national record of 1.79 metres. One record was set up on the opening day and two more records were broken on the second day of the meet which was conducted by the Athletic Association of Sri Lanka.
