SLC Lions launched

Sri Lanka Cricket with a view to recognizing the Senior Citizens of the country launched a club named SLC Lions recently.

Veteran National Cricketer Daya Sahabandu called over at the SLC Headquarters and was the first to be enroled as a member. Those over 55 years of age are eligible for membership for payment of a very nominal annual subscription fee and could witness any Test Matches being played in Sri Lanka with lunch provided.

Also they will be provided with a SLC Lions Tie, badge and receive SLC newsletters and calendar. Cricketers who have played First Class Club Cricket will be awarded free membership and could bring along a guest to witness Test matches.
