Ceylinco Traders Combined Insurance revamped

The comprehensive insurance cover for businessmen of any ilk - Traders Combined, from Ceylinco Insurance, was re-launched recently at the BMICH, heralding even more benefits for customers.

Boasting an array of new benefits and enhanced protection for the business community, the new Traders Combined Insurance Policy was revamped in line with the new needs in the market.

Accordingly, the Traders Combined Insurance from Ceylinco, which can be obtained for almost any business venture, specially with regard to groceries, pharmacies, restaurants, textile shops, furniture shops and hardware stores, is now geared to provide even better cover, removing the agony and heartache suffered by customers.

The new Traders Combined Insurance Policy will be available island-wide through Ceylinco's extensive, branch network, while all claims pertaining to the insurance policy would be settled On the Spot.

A spokesman for Ceylinco Insurance said that the re-launch of Traders Combined Insurance had taken place, as it was their policy to provide the Sri Lankan public with the most innovative and comprehensive insurance solutions, addressing emerging market needs.

In this regard, he said that numerous covers, across the gamut of businesses covered had been enhanced, with several benefits doubled, and with new benefits with no change in the existing premium.

He mentioned a few of the new benefits, including covers for legal liability and food poisoning, which had been doubled to Rs.100,000/-, while the cover for injuries to the public during loading or unloading had been increased ten-fold to Rs.100,000/- He added that covers for loss of cash in drawer and in transit had also been doubled to Rs.50,000/- and Rs.100,000/- respectively, while the cover against public liability had also been doubled to Rs.1,000,000/-

He went on to say that the Traders Combined Policy now encompassed several unique benefits; namely, the business relocation cover, which comes into effect in the event of a tragedy, which provides up to Rs.40,000/- a month for a period of four months and the business loan repayment cover, which also provides up to Rs.40,000/- a month, for a period of four months.

He added that Ceylinco Insurance would continue to innovate for the greater benefit of its customers, indicating that more customer-friendly insurance solutions will be made available in the near future.

The revamped Traders Combined Insurance Policy was also hailed by the business community and traders at large, as an ideal cover against the perils commonly faced by them. Several businessmen commended the initiative by Ceylinco Insurance, saying that Ceylinco had always stood by them in times of need.

They especially voiced their pleasure at the fact that the premium, despite the much enhanced benefits, has remained unchanged. Ceylinco Insurance is Sri Lanka's leading insurance company and is an integral part of Ceylinco Consolidated; one of the island's largest conglomerates.
