New Board for Touchwood

A new Director Board has been appointed to Touchwood Investments Limited (TIL) with the recent equity partnership with LOLC. Rohini Nanayakkara has been appointed Chairperson of TIL, together with three other Board Directors to its Board i.e. Ishara Nanayakkara, Kapila Jayawardene and K.U. Amarasinghe.

TIL is engaged in management of plantation and private forestry and in the sale of plantations as an investment to local and foreign investors.


Coca-Cola to ink Collective Agreement

Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited will enter into a Collective Agreement with Ceylon Mercantile Industrial and General Workers’ Union today, at 1. 45 p.m. at the Employers Federation, Rajagiriya.

This agreement would cover the main terms and conditions of the employment of members belonging to this union. “Signing of this agreement would be a very

important event,” company official said.


MAS Fabric Park opens today
