Nalanda in two wins

Nalanda College recorded two first innings wins over Asoka Vidyalaya and Kalutara MMV in their under-13 division I cricket tournament matches played recently.

P. Hettiyawatte scored a brilliant half century for the winning team in the first match against Asoka Vidyalaya. Nikila Weerasinghe had a haul of five wicket for just seven runs to bowl the Asokians out for 68 runs in the first innings.

In the second match too, Weerasinghe bagged four wickets against Kalutara Vidyalaya.
