Sri Lanka ‘A’ reach 326 for 8

A well-crafted 141-run stand for the sixth wicket from Dilruwan Perera and Kaushal Silva helped Sri Lanka reach 326 for eight on the first day of their game against Zimbabwe Select XI after Prosper Utseya took three quick wickets.

A streak of aggression from the tail raced Sri Lanka A past the 300 mark. Nuwan Kulasekara pulled Mupariwa over midwicket for a one-bounce four and clipped Brent for another set of four runs in the next over as Sri Lanka closed on 326 for eight in 93 overs.
