Internship for foreign medical graduates

The Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry will call for fresh applications only from all foreign medical degree holders eligible to apply for internship from the new merit list submitted by the Sri Lanka Medical Council, a Ministry spokesman said.

He said they will be appointed to work stations after giving priority to local medical graduates. All eligible foreign medical degree holders are requested to call over at the Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry auditorium, Suwasiripaya, No.385, Ven.Baddegama Wimalawansa Thera Mawata, Colombo 10 today at 10.00 am.

The Ministry took the decision after the Medical Council changed the first merit list of the foreign medical degree holders.
