Student creates PS website

A grade 10 pupil has created a website for the local council in his area.

A report revealed that Rajitha Hewawasam a grade ten student at Central College, Kuruvita, Ratnapura designed the Kuruvita Pradeshiya Sabha website.

A ceremony was held to introduce the Kuruvita Pradeshiya Sabha’s website, the report said adding that former Director General of the Department of Archaeology was the chief guest.

The local government has been placed the third best Pradeshiya Sabha in the island and the best in Ratnapura district.
