FCCISL Awards in November
The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL)
will organise the Sri Lankan Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 for the 12th
year.
It will be held on November 30 at the BMICH.
“This is the most broad based event of recognising entrepreneurs
located islandwide, the FCCISL will stage regional events of Sri Lankan
Entrepreneur 2006, culminating with the grand show, the national event,
which will undoubtedly be a success this year too” FCCISL President,
Nawaz Rajabdeen said.
Suntel Ltd is the main sponsor of the event.
The FCCISL has been organising this awards presentation to recognise
and appreciate the best National Entrepreneur since a long period.
In assessing the best entrepreneur in the country, their finance
strength, management techniques, number of employees, the extent of
using technology, competitiveness and future planning are core to the
selection, among other criteria.
The awards ceremony of the Entrepreneur 2006 in the North and East
will be held on October 18, the Ceremony in Uva on November 19 and North
Central and Wayamba Provinces, on the November 15 climaxing the main
grant Awards Ceremony in Colombo on November 30 at the BMICH.
Women who have achieved excellence in building up their business will
be recognised. Those who have demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills
in striving for excellence though overcoming obstacles and facing
challenges will be given awards at the provincial and national level.
The highlight of Sri Lankan Entrepreneur 2006 will be the special
awards for the tsunami affected entrepreneurs who will be awarded at the
provincial and national level. |
