Blessing of Army flags in Anuradhapura
 

A ceremony was held at the Uda Maluwa of the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura last Saturday to bless the flags of all Regiments and units of the Sri Lanka Army coinciding with the 57th Army Day. Army Commander Lt. General Sarath Fonseka all the Regimental Commanders, Security Forces Commanders and Commanding Officers from all parts of the country attended this colourful ceremony with the flags representing their Regiments and their respective units.
