Singer ties up with Hayleys AIG for free insurance to customers

SINGER SRI LANKA tied up with Hayleys AIG; American International Group (AIG) is the world’s leading international insurance and financial service organisation to provide free insurance to its loyal customers.

The MoU was signed between Chairman of Singer Sri Lanka Hemaka Amarasuriya and Managing Director of Hayleys AIG Jean-Pierre Assaf in the presence of Asita Abayasekera, Marketing Director, Asoka Pieris, Finance Director, Mahesh Wijewardena, Commercial Director, Rohan Rogers, Manager, Call Center, Amani Katapearachchi, Manager, Legal, Singer Sri Lanka Ltd and Prasad Fernando, Head of Accident and Health, Hayleys AIG.

Announcing this special reward scheme Amarasuriya stated, “For Singer, the customer is not a temporary contact, but an investment in a mutual value creating relationship. The Singer Family Care Free Insurance offered to our customers is another step towards getting closer to our customers.”

Any customer who purchases any product over Rs. 5,000 during the promotion will be entitled to receive an internationally valid accident cover for Rs. 50,000 absolutely free. The policy underwritten by Hayleys AIG, will cover you for one year from the date of purchase.

Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere. The Singer Family Care Free Insurance Policy provides 24-hour worldwide coverage of accidental loss of life whilst the upgrade will additionally cover permanent total disability and accidental medical reimbursement. As a special offer consumers have the option of an upgrade to cover up to Rs. 1,000,000.

Jean Pierre Assaf said that the MoU signed today is the beginning of a long journey with Singer in our endeavour to create widespread awareness on the benefits of insurance amongst the sub-urban and rural sectors of the society and make available affordable insurance products to a wider section of the population.
