iSmart Timex B.P.O scores another first

iSmart Timex B.P.O., a leading outsourcing company in Sri Lanka set a new benchmark in the industry recently when they were awarded a "Centre of Excellence" for training from ICCSP (International Call Centre Skills Professional).

ICCSP is a globally acclaimed organisation for its high levels of customer care skills and is widely renowned for its train-the-trainer program and their workshops on business and communication skills development which has already sealed its place amongst some of the top corporates in Sri Lanka.

iSmart Timex, an organization that gained recognition for their quality of work when rated as the best 3rd party tri-lingual call centre in the country by high ranked independent polls, has taken it upon themselves to be active participants in the B.P.O. space to increase awareness and to provide guidance of the highest standard to those who choose this avenue as a career choice.

CEO for ICCSP Asia Sesh Sukhdeo, says that after a couple of months of working closely with iSmart Timex, he realized that training was given high priority and commended the organisation's perseverance in attempts to obtain the perfect combination and coordination in training and quality frontiers.

ICCSP plans on maintaining this strong bond with iSmart Timex as, among other things, corporate training maybe just another step away. CEO of iSmart Timex B.P.O. Moin Habib, said that in a business stream where quality means everything, a venture amongst two organizations with similar passions for self betterment may just be the 'spark' the country requires.

"Not enough attention is being paid to aspects such as quality and training and we wish to alter this culture by eradicating the frame of mind by setting ourselves as examples," said Habib.

This venture has opened doors for the people of Sri Lanka to experience call centre training of International Standards and in turn acts as the first few steps in an opportunity-filled career path for an industry that is growing exponentially.
