Dialog launches BlackBerry Connect in Sri Lanka
Dialog Telekom, Sri Lanka's flagship telecommunications company, and
Research In Motion (RIM) announced the launch of BlackBerry Connect
software on selected Nokia and Sony Ericsson handsets, enabling a wider
choice of devices with push-based wireless email and services.
With BlackBerry Connect, the Nokia E61i, Nokia E65, Nokia 9300i, Sony
Ericsson P990i and Sony Ericsson W950 can support push-based wireless
email with attachment viewing and other features in conjunction with
BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet Service.

Dialog subscribers who are current users of Nokia E61i, Nokia E65,
Nokia 9300i, Sony Ericsson P990i and Sony Ericsson W950, will be able to
download BlackBerry Connect software from www.dialog.lk/ blackberry/bbconnect.
New customers will find the BlackBerry Connect software pre-loaded when
they purchase the selected devices from Dialog Telekom.
For corporate customers, BlackBerry Enterprise Server software
tightly integrates with, IBM Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell
GroupWise and works with existing enterprise systems to enable secure,
push-based wireless access to email and other corporate data.
For individuals and smaller businesses, BlackBerry Internet Service
allows users to access multiple supported email accounts (including most
popular ISP email accounts) from a single device. |
