CWC rejoins Govt.

COLOMBO: The CWC is most likely to re-join the Government and take up
the portfolios relinquished by it recently. This follows a meeting CWC
Leader Arumugam Thondaman had with President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple
Trees recently.
The talks which lasted for nearly three hours were held in a very
cordial atmosphere, informed sources said. Issues which led the CWC to
sit in opposition were discussed at length.
The CWC leader was due to brief his senior party leaders about the
outcome of the talks yesterday.
