She needs help

Kurunegala: E.D. Lasanthi Kokila (9) of Pothuwewa, Meddegama, Wellawa is suffering from an acute heart ailment (Atrial Septal Defect). Dr. S. Narenthiran, Consultant Cardiologist, has recommended an urgent heart surgery to save her life. The surgery would be performed at the Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital provided an Amplatzer ASD closure device is provided by the parents.

The child's father E.D. Nimal Premasiri says this device is estimated to cost Rs. 295,000 ff which Rs. 175,000 has been provided by the President's Fund. He says he is unable to find the balance Rs. 120,000 due to his family's present financial plight. He requests philanthropists and the public to assist his daughter's cause by sending whatever financial contributions possible to help meet the balance and expedite the surgery.
