High level Lankan delegation for Libya

COLOMBO: A high level Sri Lankan delegation led by Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama left for a three day official visit to Libya yesterday.

The delegation comprises Petroleum and Petroleum Resources Development Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and nine members from the business community.

During the visit, Bogollagama is expected to meet the Leader of the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Colonel Muammar al -Qadhafi and senior officials of the Libyan Government.

This visit is to be used as a platform to address various matters such as increased co-operation in the international arena, investment opportunities, promotion of trade, tourism and employment matters.

The Foreign Minister will address business leaders during his visit and the visiting business delegates will conduct one to one meetings with the Business community in Libya.
