BoI signs agreements with AKDA Group for projects worth over US$ 4
million
The Board of Inve- stment of Sri Lanka (BoI) signed two agreements
with AKDA Real Estate (Pvt) Ltd and

agreements: A. K. Diyabalanage, Chairman of AKDA Engineering
International (Pvt) Ltd, receives the BOI Agreement document
from Chairman/Director General Dhammika Perera. Also in the

AKDA Plantation (Pvt) Ltd related to real estate and
agriculture sectors.
The agreement between AKDA Real Estate (Pvt.) Ltd and the BOI covers
the construction of two super luxury apartment complexes in Colombo. The
investment for the project is around US$ 3.6 million and construction
work will commence shortly.
With an investment of US$ 600,000, AKDA Plantation (Pvt) Ltd signed
an agreement for a project to cultivate flowers for the international
market. A spokesperson for the company stated that the cut flowers would
be exported mainly to the European Union.
The project will be located at Uda Hingulwala, Kandy, and will
initially generate 62 new employment opportunities. |
