Oriflame anniversary

It was an evening filled with fun and frolic last Tuesday, when Oriflame celebrated their 40th anniversary and launched "Power Shine", their new range of semi sheer high shine lipsticks.

In addition some of Sri Lanka's successful consultants were rewarded, at the ceremony held at the BMICH exhibition centre.

Oriflame Lanka Managing Director Per Gunnarsson, Sri Lanka Sales Manager Keith Rozairo, other senior and junior staff of Oriflame along with thousands of Oriflame consultants were among the gathering.

Speaking to the gathering Per Gunnarsson said they celebrate their 40th anniversary year all around the world. Oriflame also celebrates its 10th anniversary year in Sri Lanka. Oriflame's operation in Sri Lanka has been on an upward trend and has achieved remarkable growth levels for almost all its products," he said.

"Oriflame, Sri Lanka is presently one of the fastest growing Oriflame companies in the world," he added. Gunnarsson said that some of Oriflame's successful consultants earn between Rs. 75,000 to 200,000 per month.

Oriflame also provides its consultants (sales personnel) with training and guidance to develop their skills.

 This year, title Saphire Director (a title given to best marketeer) went to Asika Suriyage.

She was also presented Rs. 400,000.

Seven consultants, including Suriyage received air tickets to Spain in recognition of their dedication.

Nadeeka Perera, best female model, of the world was also given one year contract with Oriflame. She would be provided with Oriflame products during this period. Oriflame is an international cosmetics company that markets a complete range of high-quality natural skincare and colour cosmetics, fragrances, toiletries and accessories products through an independent sales force, outside the traditional retail environment.
