AWARDS: The CINEC Maritime Campus is performing an appreciable
service by training maritime professionals
REPORT: The Annual Report of the Sri Lanka Central Freight Bureau
was presented to Ports and Aviation Minister Chamal Rajapaksa at his
Ministry by Bureau Chairman K. D. Nihal Hewage recently. Bureau’s
Directors Jagath Chandrasiri, Lalith Abeysiriwardena, Premachandra
Epa, Sanath Ranaweera and Gamini Nelson were also present on the
occasion.

and Aviation Chamal Rajapaksa.
He said so at the Degree and Certificate Awarding ceremony of CINEC
Maritime Campus held recently.
CINEC Maritime Campus is the largest maritime institute in Sri Lanka
training and conducts Bachelor of Engineering programmes in the fields
of Maritime Engineering, International Transport Management and training
professional in Shipping etc.
The Minister also said that the CINEC Maritime Campus in Sri Lanka
can be attributed as the best maritime training institute in South Asia
and the existence of such an institute in Sri Lanka is a feather in cap
to our country.
Today a large number of vacancies could be found around the world for
such professionals and the institute while producing maritime engineers
to cater to the global demand, paves the way to earn much needed foreign
exchange.
Ministry Secretary Tilak Kollure distributed the certificates.
