NEW INVENTION: A revolutionary invention of Lankan origin will
enter the United Kingdom consumer market allowing cash transfers from
one mobile phone to another. It will be available at over 1500 retail
outlets from early August.
This new concept is being developed into a virtual cash network
allowing for most payments from one mobile phone and giving access to
cash from the mobile phone, the inventor and patent holder of the
"Mobile Cash" Process and Proprietary Software Harold Wijetunga said.
He said that this is economical than the current money transferring

Sri Lanka in the future.
This service is being expanded to allow for international transfers
out of the UK to India, Sri Lanka and many more countries in the next
few months, making it perhaps the first of its kind globally to allow
for cash transfers from one mobile phone to another.
Wijetunga said he is in the process of negotiating with some banks in
Sri Lanka to introduce this revolutionary concept especially targeting
foreign employees working in the Middle-East.
According to Wijetunga the main aims of setting up "Mobile Cash' in
the Middle-East is to allow Sri Lankan expatriate employees to transfer
their earnings home via mobile phones and the funds being paid out in
any part of Sri Lanka extended to rural areas through the banking
network.
'Once this concept is introduced to Sri Lanka one could collect cash
from approved retail shops in any part of Sri Lanka and those cash
collection centers will be designed with a logo for the convenience of
the customer and all the instructions will be provided for operators for
activation with a minimum fee,' he said
The "Mobile Cash" proprietary Software has been designed, developed
and deployed and integrated for Wijetunga by RISCOR Consults, a leading
IT Group headed by Chris Corea a leading IT specialists who has also
created "Pathfinder" a mobile phone based location tracking system in
Sri Lanka.
Wijetunga who is residing in Australia will launch this concept in UK
initially and this network in the UK is to be operated by 3R Telecom
Limited who operate a network of 1500 POS machines across the UK in
retail outlets where the sale of mobile cash will occur and pay out will
also be facilitated. |
