CSE positive
BOURSE: The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) closed yesterday on a
positive note. The All Share Price Index (ASPI) and Milanka Price Index
(MPI) showed an increase, sources said.
John Keells contributed half of yesterday’s turnover by dominating
the market, which was 2.74 million shares. During the day, 5.8 million
shares were traded in volumes, Bartleet Mallory Stockbrokers (Pvt)
Limited sources said.
The ASPI went up by 14 points and the MPI jumped to 19 points
bringing positive results for the market yesterday.
The highest number of shares that traded other than JKH were ACL
Cables 0.27 million and Balangoda Plantation 0.25 million shares.
