More Tigers surrender to Army

SITTHANDI: Four LTTE cadres from Thoppigala surrendered to the Army, Security Forces in the East said.

The surrendees have claimed that they were forcibly recruited to the LTTE after being harassed and were threatened to engage in terror activities.

The surrendees are Ranjith, 27, Udayajeevadasan ,31, and Selvarajah, 22. Another LTTEer who surrendered to the Army is yet to be identified.

Loganathan Ravindran, 23, surrendered to the Security Forces at Valachchenai in Batticaloa last Saturday.
