Check on quality of imported milk powder

COLOMBO: Livestock Development Minister R.M.C.B. Rathnayake has instructed Ministry officials to make arrangements to check the quality and ingredients of imported milk powder to Sri Lanka.

The minister took up this issue during discussions at a meeting at the Ministry. Rathnayake said the Ministry has received many complaints from the public, public organisations and intellectuals about the quality of milk powders imported to Sri Lanka.
